Quest Experiences Strengthens Safety Standards Through First Aid & CPR Training

Safety is paramount in all aspects of life. At Quest Experiences, it underpins every experience we curate and offer our guests. With the upcoming tourism season approaching, Quest Experiences recently organised a First Aid & CPR Training course for team members and representatives of several partner experiences to further strengthen safety preparedness across our network.
The training was conducted by Pamela Riley, Director of the Anguilla Red Cross, and brought together 11 participants from Quest Experiences and partner operators, including Grand Anguilla Charters, 4Shore Fishing, Pure Anguilla (Katouche Adventures), Liquid Glow, Glo’s Flavoured Rums, and AXAHikeLife.
I sincerely appreciate Mr. Clemvio Hodge of Quest Experiences for bringing together people from diverse backgrounds to participate in the Anguilla Red Cross Basic First Aid training. The session was informative, and attendees were engaged and eager to learn these important lifesaving skills. Partnerships like this help the Anguilla Red Cross build a safer and more resilient community.Pamela Riley, Director of the Anguilla Red Cross

Throughout the course, attendees gained practical knowledge and hands-on experience in a variety of life-saving techniques, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), choking response, recognising the signs of heart attacks and strokes, and treating injuries and medical emergencies.
As a company that interacts with hundreds of guests each month, Quest Experiences recognises the importance of being prepared to respond effectively in emergency situations. By investing in training and preparedness, the company continues its commitment to providing safe and enjoyable experiences for both visitors and residents alike.
“Standout areas of the workshop were definitely the CPR and mobile defibrillator training. Having completed CPR classes in the past, I found that this training went into much greater depth regarding proper technique and application. We spent close to an hour practising CPR using training dummies, which helped build confidence and reinforce the skills being taught.” Isaac Fleming, Experience Guide & Concierge, Quest Experiences
The training provided a balanced combination of theory and practical application. Participants explored the many ways medical emergencies can present themselves, from heart attacks and strokes to severe allergic reactions and other potentially life-threatening situations. Understanding how to recognise these conditions and respond appropriately is an invaluable skill both professionally and personally.
“We at 4Shore Fishing would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Quest Experiences for organising and facilitating a free first aid training for our company. It is an excellent initiative, and we as a company have been very fortunate to take part. This allows us to give an even better experience as well as a safer experience for our guests, thank you Quest!”

“Earning the certification is something I am proud of, but more importantly, helping our team and partners to also gaining the skills necessary to potentially save a life provides a sense of responsibility and preparedness that is truly invaluable.”
